HATCHING
SYSTEM
APS Hatching System consists of three fully customizable hatch
palettes. One for Plan Hatches, one for Elevation Hatches, and one for
Detail/Section Hatches. Each provides forty spaces for setting up hatch
patterns. The setup of the hatches allows you to predefine their properties in
such a way that the trial and error of hatching is completely eliminated. We've
even included over 80 custom made hatch patterns for you to use.

Customizing the Hatch Patterns:
When setting up hatches in these palettes the following setup dialog is
used.
The palette name and cell number
Select the hatch pattern to be used here
Check here if you want the hatch to be relative. For brick, CMU coursing
etc.
You may preset the scale and rotation or be prompted for it at time of
hatching. If you are to be prompted you may enter a default value for
scale and rotation as a "suggestion" or to lessen selection clicks.
If the hatch has preset values you may check this box to have the hatch
scale factor adjust with the scale factor of the drawing.
You may also predefine a color and/or lineweight to always use with this
hatch.
