Command Specific Problems / Questions

  • The size of the arcs is too big or too small.
    • The scale factor of the drawing is not set up correctly. Use "Change Working Scale..." under the "File" pull down or type in "SCALECHECK" at the command line to verify that the scale factor is set correctly in your drawing. If the scale is not what it should be change it by selecting the appropriate scale. See the SCALECHECK command documentation for more on setting the scale.

  • The cloud won't draw. It just "rubber bands" from the starting point.
  • The scale factor for the drawing is set very large or you are trying to draw a cloud that is very small. The cloud command will "rubber band" like shown at left until the cursor gets far enough away from the starting point to register one "segment" of the cloud outline. The larger the scale factor of the drawing the larger distance it takes to register one segment of the outline. Use "Change Working Scale..." under the "File" pull down or type in "SCALECHECK" at the command line and make the scale factor smaller.
