Layer SearchCommand affected: ALLCALL, ALLCALLSYMB
Specify the layers that you want the ALLCALL and ALLCALLSYMB commands to search for door and window blocks. You may call them out specifically and/or you may use wildcards. In the dialog shown above the string "A-DOOR-##" means that the ALLCALL and ALLCALLSYMB commands will search any layer that is named "A-DOOR-<number><number>" so "A-DOOR-01", "A-DOOR-02", "A-DOOR-03" would all be searched for doors and windows, but "A-DOOR-B1" would not. The entry "*DOOR*" means that any layer with "DOOR" in it will be searched. See here for more on how to use wildcards. To add to the list of layers that the ALLCALL and ALLCALLSYMB command will search press the "Add Layer" button and the following dialog will appear:
Type in the layer name or layer wildcard that you would like to add and press "OK". It will be added to the list of layers that the ALLCALL command will search. Should you want to delete one of the layers or wildcard designations select (highlight) the one to delete in the list and press "Delete Layer" and it will be removed. Back to top
Door symbol blockCommand affected: ALLCALLSYMB, CALLOUTSYMB
Specify the block that you would like used for the door symbols. There are some special requirements for the door symbol block so we recommend that you modify the existing door symbol block rather than try to use one of your own. For more on modifying this block see Customizing standard symbol blocks and Modifying attribute definitions in door, window, and room symbol blocks. Then enter the width and height of the block selected (when full scale) to help the ALLCALLSYMB command position the symbol. Back to top
Window symbol blockCommand affected: ALLCALLSYMB, CALLOUTSYMB
Specify the block that you would like used for the window symbols. There are some special requirements for the window symbol block so we recommend that you modify the existing window symbol block rather than try to use one of your own. For more on modifying this block see Customizing standard symbol blocks and Modifying attribute definitions in door, window, and room symbol blocks. Then enter the width and height of the block selected (when full scale) to help the ALLCALLSYMB command position the symbol. Back to top
