Breakdown of configuration options

Arrowhead for DANGULAR, DDIAM, and DRADIUS Commands

Commands affected:  DANGULAR, DDIAM, DRADIUS

Since many like to use a different arrowheads for angular, diameter, and radius dimensioning we have allowed the DANGULAR, DDIAM, and DRADIUS commands to use a different arrowhead than all of the other dimension commands. Choose the type of arrowhead you would like from the drop-down list or select "User" and browse for a drawing block to use for the arrowheads.

Run DIMSET When First Open Drawing

Commands affected:  DIMSET

The DIMSET command sets the current drawing's dimension variables to the values set below. Checking the box shown here will run the DIMSET command at the start of every drawing.

DIMSET Command Values

Commands affected:  DIMSET

The values that are set by the DIMSET command are divided in to five sections: Lines and Arrows, Text, Fit, Primary Text Units and Alternate Text Units. Select a button above or the text links for more on each section.

DIMSET - Draw Associative Dimensions

Commands affected:  DIMSET

This setting for the DIMSET command sets whether you use associative dimensioning. For more on how this setting affects dimensions see AutoCAD's help for the "DIMASO System Variable" or "DIMASSOC System Variable".

DIMSET - Update Dim Text Value When Stretching or Dragging

Commands affected:  DIMSET

This setting for the DIMSET command sets dimension text will be updated while stretching or dragging. For more on how this setting affects dimensions see AutoCAD's help for the "DIMSHO System Variable".
