Breakdown of configuration optionsHeader Polyline ThicknessCommand affected: HDRBEAM
Enter the thickness you would like the Pline for the header to be. The distance entered above should be the thickness you want the header to be on the plotted sheet (or in a drawing w/ a scale factor of 1.0). The thickness will be scaled up with the scale of the drawing. Back to top
Header LinetypeCommand affected: HDRBEAM
Select the linetype for the header. The linetypes listed are from the linetype files specified in the LType Cmd section of this configuration utility. Back to top
Color and Lineweight for HeaderCommand affected: HDRBEAM
Select the color and lineweight for the header (How to select colors). If you are using release 14 or earlier the lineweight value will have no effect now, but we encourage you to set it so you won't have to later when you upgrade. Back to top
Bearing DistanceCommand affected: HDRBEAM
Enter the bearing distance for each side of the door or window. This distance is how far past the window or door jamb the beam will extend on each side. Back to top
Header Size NotationCommand affected: HDRBEAM
Check the box next to "Prompt for..." above if you would like to insert text calling out the size or any other type of note for the header beam you just entered. Assuming you want to enter text, you may specify 20 preset text values that each may be selected when inserting the header beam. The default values are shown above but you could change them to whatever you commonly use. Back to top
