Breakdown of configuration options

Backsplash & Height

Commands affected:  BASECABS, BASEDRAWERS, ELEVBLKS (Kitchen Cabinet Elevations)

Check whether or not you would like a backsplash line drawn above the countertop; then below enter the desired backsplash height.

Countertop Thickness

Commands affected:  BASECABS, BASEDRAWERS, ELEVBLKS (Kitchen Cabinet Elevations)

Enter the thickness you would like to draw the countertop.

Toe Kick Height

Commands affected:  BASECABS, BASEDRAWERS, ELEVBLKS (Kitchen Cabinet Elevations)

Enter the the toe-kick reveal height at the bottom of the cabinet.

Color and Lineweight for Knobs

Commands affected:  BASECABS, BASEDRAWERS, ELEVBLKS (Kitchen Cabinet Elevations)

Enter the color and lineweight for all knobs for kitchen cabinetry (how to select colors). If you are using release 14 or earlier the lineweight value will have no effect now, but we encourage you to set it so you won't have to change it later when you upgrade.

Cabinet Door Style

Commands affected:  BASECABS, BASEDRAWERS, ELEVBLKS (Kitchen Cabinet Elevations)

Select the kitchen cabinet door style you would like. You have the choice of flush or reveal. If you choose reveal, you may select the reveal distances for the top, sides, and bottom of the door.

Cabinet Door Knob Style

Commands affected:  BASECABS, BASEDRAWERS, ELEVBLKS (Kitchen Cabinet Elevations)

Select the kitchen door knob style. If you choose a pull (as shown here) you may choose how long and how thick to make the pull. If you choose the knob you may enter the radius for the knob.

Drawer Style

Commands affected:  BASECABS, BASEDRAWERS, ELEVBLKS (Kitchen Cabinet Elevations)

Enter the height you would like the drawers drawn. Select the kitchen cabinet drawer style you would like. You have the choice of flush or reveal. If you choose reveal, you may select the reveal distances for the top, sides, and bottom of the door.
