Selecting any of the four "Layer assignments" buttons from the Layer Control dialog will bring up the dialog below with the layer types for the button selected.

Configuration dialog:

The button keeps changes made and closes the dialog.

The button discards changes made and closes the dialog.

The button brings you to this web page for help during the command (without canceling).

The above dialog shows the "Plan Layers" layer assignments. A listing of each of the "Plan Layers" layer types (set in Customize Layer Types) is shown followed by the layer name, color, linetype, and lineweight assigned to it.

To edit the layer information for one of the layer types select the line containing the layer type. See Editing Layer Properties below.

Edit as many of the layer assignments as necessary.

The "Interior Walls" layer type was selected and the dialog above appears.

Edit the layer name as needed.

Select the linetype for the layer. The linetypes listed are from the linetype files specified in the LType Cmd section of this configuration utility.

Select the color and lineweight for the layer (how to select colors). If you are using release 14 or earlier the lineweight value will have no effect, but we encourage you to set it so you won't have to later when you upgrade.

When the layer information is correct press "OK" and the dialog will close and update the list of layer assignments.
