This is not a single command with a strange name, but rather 257 commands. Each number from 0 through 256 is a command to change objects to it's respective color number. For example the "7" command changes objects to color 7 (white), "222" changes objects to color 222 and so on. Color 0 is ByBlock and color 256 is ByLayer.

Command: 2
Select objects:
Select the objects in the drawing that you would like to change to color 2 (yellow). When you have selected all the objects, press <Space> or <Enter>.
--The objects selected will be changed to color 2 (yellow)--
Shortcut tip: If you have just performed another command on the objects that you want to change the color of, you don't have to select the objects again. Once you've pressed <Enter> or <Space> after the "2", press <Enter> or the <Space> bar again without selecting anything and the last selection set will automatically be selected and changed to color 2 (yellow). Example: You have just changed the linetype of two circles, press "2" and then press <Enter> twice. The circles will change to color 2 (yellow).
All of the color numbers (0 through 256) work the same as the example (2) shown above
Note: If the objects you select are a part of a block or xref and the color of the objects within the block have not been set to color "Byblock" the colors will not change.
