This command creates 3D faces from lines by specifying an offset distance for the line in the X, Y and/or Z directions. The points for the 3D Face are determined by using the endpoints of the original line and the endpoints of the line if it were "moved" the X, Y and Z distances entered from the original line. You may enter a zero distance for two of the coordinate directions so that you may extrude along one of the polar directions (but obviously you cannot enter zero for all three). When the command is completed the original lines remain in their original locations. The 3D Face is drawn on the current layer regardless of the layer of the line being "extruded".

Enter or show by selecting two points the distance to "extrude" the line in the X direction. You may use negative numbers if desired. Just press <Enter> if you do not want to extrude in this direction.
Specify distance to extrude lines in Y direction: <0.0>:
Enter or show by selecting two points the distance to "extrude" the line in the Y direction. You may use negative numbers if desired. Just press <Enter> if you do not want to extrude in this direction.
Specify distance to extrude lines in Z direction: <0.0>:
