Component of the Detailer command that draws fiberglass batt insulation of various sizes.
User configurable options:
See Batt Ins in the Section/Detail Cmds section of the APS Configuration Utility.
Layers:
The layer type for this command can be changed in the Assigning Layer Types to Commands portion of the Layer Control section of the APS-CONFIG command.

Command:
Command: BATTSThe following dialog will appear:
The
button will take you to the main selection screen of the detailer command.
The
button brings you to this web page for help during the command (without canceling)
Select the insulation thickness button that you want or press "Specify" to enter another thickness.
Select start point for 3 1/2" insulation:
For this example we will assume that we selected the 3 1/2" insulation to place inside of a 2x4 stud wall. Select the start point for the insulation. The endpoint and intersection snaps are added to your running object snaps if not already being used.
Select end point or [D]ist/[L]ength/direction dialog:
Select ending point for the insulation or press the D or L key to use the Distance/Length & direction dialog. This time the endpoint, intersection and perpendicular object snaps are added to your running snaps if they are not being used already.
Side for insulation:
Select the side that you want the insulation to go.
