Command:
Command: BL
Command: BBLLDR
Specify first point on symbol or text:
Select the notation symbol or some text. When selecting a symbol the command uses the Quick, Endpoint, Midpoint, and Quadrant object snaps to determine the point to start the leader. If you were selecting a square symbol you might want to select the symbol near the center of one of the sides so it would start the leader from the midpoint of that side. It will use the snap that is closest or most appropriate for the shape of the symbol being selected. When doing text, the leader is based from the middle point of the text and will be trimmed appropriately depending on the direction of the leader.
Examples:
will start the leader as shown
If the symbol is a circle and you select it near the left quadrant the leader will start there:
will start the leader as shown
If the symbol has corners and it is selected near one of the endpoints the leader will start there:
will start the leader as shown
If you select the symbol near one of the midpoints the leader will start there:

-- once the symbol is selected ortho is turned on --
Specify second point or [D]ist/[L]ength/direction dialog:
This is the first leg of the leader line. Select the point that you would like the "elbow" of the leader to be or type "D" or "L" to use the Distance/Length & direction dialog.
-Once the second point is picked the first leader line is drawn.-
Specify center point for the circle or [D]ist/[L]ength/direction dialog:
Ortho is turned off for this point. Enter the point at the center of the area to be noted/detailed. Once again you may also press "D" or "L" for the Distance/Length & direction dialog.
Specify circle radius:
A circle is "rubber banded" to allow you to choose the size desired. Either enter a distance for the circle radius or pick a point when the circle is large enough to surround the objects being highlighted.
--the circle is drawn and the second leader line is drawn--
Round Area Callout Symbol Command to "call out" an area that can be contained in a circle.
