Create a new submenu

When you select a cell from the "Customize" menu the following dialog appears:

Select "Submenu" and press "OK". This creates a new blank submenu with 40 more cells to define. The depth of the submenus is only limited by filename length restrictions in your operating system and AutoCAD. When you specify that a cell should be a link to a new submenu you will see the following dialog:

This asks whether you would like to save your changes in the current menu and open this new blank submenu for editing. If you would like to finish with what you are doing in the current menu and edit the submenu later press "No". If you are done with the current menu and would like to start filling the new submenu with commands and blocks press "Yes".

When you first open a blank submenu it will look like this:

At this point you have a "clean slate". For how to "fill" this new menu with information, blocks & commands go back to Customizing the Block Library.
