This part of the Detailer command draws bolts; Hex, Lag, Expansion, and J-bolts in various sizes and lengths.
User configurable options:
See Bolt/screw/nail in the Section/Detail Cmds section of the APS Configuration Utility.
Layers:
The layer types for this command can be changed in the Assigning Layer Types to Commands portion of the Layer Control section of the APS-CONFIG command.

Command:
Command: BOLTS
(or select from the main Detailer dialog window)The following dialog appears: (unless bolt type is selected directly from main detailer window)
Select the bolt type from the window (we will use the hex bolt shown upper left in this example) and then the following dialog appears:
The
button will take you to the main selection screen of the detailer command.
The
button brings you to this web page for help during the command (without canceling)
Enter the bolt size that you would like in the "Bolt diameter:" box or select one of the "Common sizes" buttons. Check the "With Washer" box if you would like washers drawn.
Head point:
Enter a point on the material to center the head of the bolt/washer. (In this example we used the midpoint object snap to help find this point.)
Select nut point or [D]ist/[L]ength/direction dialog:
Select the point to center the nut/washer on, or type "D" or "L" to enter the point relative to the first point with the Distance/Length & direction dialog. (In this example we used the perpendicular object snap to help find this point.)
