CALLOUT SELECTED DOOR OR WINDOW

This command inserts a callout block with size and type information for each door and window block selected.

User configurable options: 

• Text description for each of the door and window types
• Size, style, and configuration of callout text - See Customizing door & window callout blocks

See "ALLCALL" Command in the Floor Plan Cmds section of the APS Configuration Utility.

Layers:

• If you are using "No Layer Control" the callout block will be inserted on whatever layer is current. See the Layer Control section of the APS Configuration Utility.

• The default layer type for the callout symbol is "Notes & Leaders".
  • If you are using "Direct Layer Assignment" the layer name is assigned to this layer type in the Layer assignments portion of the Layer Control section of the APS-CONFIG command.
  • If you are using "Layer Schemes" the layer name is assigned to this layer type in the Assigning Layer Names to Layer Types portion of the SCHEMEDIT command.

  The layer type for this command can be changed in the Assigning Layer Types to Commands portion of the Layer Control section of the APS-CONFIG command.

SAMPLE CALLOUT COMMAND SYNTAX:

Command:
Command: CALLOUT

Select door or window:

Select a door or window block in the plan.

-the door or window is noted-

Select another door or window.

-the door or window is noted-

The window callouts are located off-center relative to the window to allow for dimension lines to reference the center of the window block if needed. Keep selecting door or window blocks as needed.
