The Change Color command is used to change the color of objects in the drawing. It is meant to provide easy access to the most commonly used colors from your standard office color scheme. By sorting the colors by pen thicknesses it becomes easy to enforce color use and bring new CAD Jocks up to speed quickly.

Command: CCOLORThe following dialog appears (your color choices may vary):

button brings you to this web page for help during the command (without canceling)
The
button will take you directly to the CColor Cmd section of the APS Configuration Utility that allows you to change the colors, headings, and shading percentages.
Select the color to which you would like to change objects in the drawing.
Select objects:
Select the objects in the drawing that you would like to change. When selected, press <Space> or <Enter>.
--The objects in the drawing will be changed to the color selected--
Shortcut tip: If you have just performed another command on the objects that you want to change, you don't have to select the objects again. Once you've selected the color as shown above, press <Enter> or the <Space> bar without selecting anything and the last selection set will automatically be selected and changed to the color desired.
Note: if the objects you select are a part of a block/xref and the color of the objects within the block have not been set to color "Byblock" the colors will not change.
