COPY OBJECTS TO (ANOTHER) FLOOR'S LAYERS

This command copies objects from one floor's layers to the same layers on another floor level. You may select an entire floor or just a few items and they will be copied to the chosen floor. If the layers of the new floor do not exist they will be created prior to copying. When the command comes across objects on layers without any floor designation you will be given the option to not copy them or to enter the layers that those objects should be copied to.

[If a layer does not have a valid floor designation]

If while copying a layer does not have a valid floor designation (for example you have a common layer that does not specify floor level) the following dialog will appear: (the layer name will vary)

When this occurs you have two options: you may specify the layer to copy the objects to, or you may select to not copy any objects that are on this layer.

Note: If you do not change the layer shown in the edit box and press the "Use Above Layer" button the objects will be copied to the same layer as the original so you will have two identical objects on the same layer.

[end - If a layer does not have a valid floor designation]
