COPY BLOCK

Despite the name, this command does not copy an existing block, it actually inserts it again allowing different values to be entered when inserting it.

User configurable options: none

Layers:

• The block is inserted on the current layer.

Known limitations:

• Must be a block, XREF's will not work.

• Submit a limitation not listed.

Command: CPYBLK

Select existing block:

Select an existing block in the drawing.

--the selected block in inserted using the standard AutoCAD "INSERT" command (syntax varies w/ version)--
