CURVED LEADERS

Each of the commands draws a curved leader starting from the arrow point. The arrowhead and the curved leader are one object when completed. The difference between the commands is the type of arrowhead that each uses. The types of arrowheads are shown below:

CRVLA - Std Arrowhead CRVLAA - Architectural Arrowhead CRVLB - Butterfly Arrowhead CRVLD - Dot Arrowhead CRVLS - Simple Arrowhead CRVLT - Tick Arrowhead

Each of the arrowheads is scaled using the drawing's scale factor so that they will appear the same size on the plotted sheet no matter what the drawing's scale.

User configurable options:

• Size of each of the arrowheads.

Layers:

• If you are using "No Layer Control" the leader is drawn on whatever layer is current. See the Layer Control section of the APS Configuration Utility.

• The default layer type for the leader is "Notes & Leaders".
  • If you are using "Direct Layer Assignment" the layer name is assigned to this layer type in the Layer assignments portion of the Layer Control section of the APS-CONFIG command.
  • If you are using "Layer Schemes" the layer name is assigned to this layer type in the Assigning Layer Names to Layer Types portion of the SCHEMEDIT command.

  The layer type for this command can be changed in the Assigning Layer Types to Commands portion of the Layer Control section of the APS-CONFIG command.

SAMPLE CURVED LEADER COMMAND SYNTAX:

Command: , , , , , or
Command: CLA, CLAA, CLB, CLD, CLS, or CLT
Command: CRVLA, CRVLAA, CRVLB, CRVLD, CRVLS, or CRVLT

Enter arrow point:

Select the point you would like the leader to start.

Enter direction for leader:

Select the direction. This angle defines the angle that the arrowhead will be drawn and the starting angle for the leader arc.

--The arrowhead will be drawn and the first arc will be started--

Select the endpoint of the first arc.

--The arc will be drawn and the next arc will be started--

Select the next arc endpoint or <Enter>/<Space> to stop drawing arcs. The command will continue to draw arcs until <Enter> or <Space> is pressed.
