layer control methods this command will always place the dimension on the
correct layer.
- This command will always use the default distance. (will not prompt for a
distance value)

Specify first extension line origin or <select object>:
Select the first point for the dimension or select an object.
[Specified first extension line origin (selected
a point)]
Specify second extension line origin or [D]ist/[L]ength/direction
dialog:
Select the second point for the dimension or type "D" or "L" to enter
the point relative to the first point with the Distance/Length
& direction dialog.
Specify dimension line location or [Mtext/Text/Angle]:
Type in "A" if you want specify a text angle other than the angle
of the dimension line, otherwise select a point for the dimension line.
Note: the "Mtext" and "Text" options have been disabled. If you need to change the
text of the dimension you will have to do so after the dimension has been
created.
