The following dialog appears:

The button will take you to the main selection screen of the detailer command.

The button brings you to this web page for help during the command (without canceling)

Verify the jamb type & sizes indicated and press OK.

Note: A size of 0.0 on the non door side rabbet will make it squared off w/ no rabbet on that side.

Select first jamb corner:

Select the corner of one side of the wall. The intersection and endpoint object snaps will be added to your running snaps if they are not already being used.

Select second jamb corner or [D]ist/[L]ength/direction dialog:

Select the other corner of the wall or type "D" or "L" for the Distance/Length & direction dialog. Once again the intersection and endpoint object snaps will be added to your running snaps if they are not already being used.

Select side for the jamb:

Select the side that the jamb should be on.

Side for door:

If the door side rabbet and the non door side rabbet are not the same size you will be asked to choose the side for the door. The white dashed line that appears is to help locate the border between sides. Select a point on one side or the other of the white line.
