KEYNOTE DEFINITION EDITOR

This command allows you to add, edit, and delete global keynote definitions in a keynote definition file.

SAMPLE KEYDEFS COMMAND SYNTAX:

Command: KEYDEFS

The following dialog will appear:

The keynote definition file being edited is displayed at the top of the dialog.

Saves your changes and closes the dialog.

Saves your changes to another location and/or filename and then closes.

Discards any changes and closes.

Brings you to this web page for help during the command (without canceling).

 

Adding a keynote definition

Press the "Add keynote" button and you will see the following dialog:

Type in the keynote number you want and the description for your number and then press "OK". This dialog will close and the new definition will be added to the list. If you enter a number that is already in use you will see the following dialog:

If the number suggested is OK press "OK" if you would like to use a different number type in the number and press "OK".

 

Deleting a keynote definition

Press the "Delete keynote" button and the main dialog will change

so that the title above the list will change to read: "Select keynote to DELETE". Select a keynote from the list and you will see a dialog that will look similar to the following:

If you are sure you want to delete the selected keynote number press "OK" and the keynote number and description will be deleted from the list.

 

Editing a keynote definition

Select one of the keynotes in the list and a dialog similar to the following will appear:

Edit the number and/or description as needed and press "OK" to update it in the list.
