This command turns layers on. The layer names can be selected by typing them in and if using layer schemes you may select the layer names from either the "Layers" pull-down or from the screen menu.

Select layers from screen menu or type layers to turn ON:

If you are using layer schemes you may select layers from either the screen menu (shown at left) or from the "Layers" pull-down (shown at right). Select as many layers as you would like. You may also select the "V" above a section of layers. This selects the group of layers directly below it. If your list of layers is longer than your screen menu you may also select theline of the screen menu to bring up a dialog that allows access to all the layers of the current scheme.
Note: the layer names shown in both the screen menu and the pull down are abbreviations of the actual layer name. These abbreviations as well as the full layer name are defined in a layer scheme and can be edited using the SCHEMEDIT command.
To configure how layers are displayed on your screen when using layer schemes see the Layer scheme control settings portion of the Layer Control section of the APS Configuration Utility.

Obviously you can also just type in the layer name or names. Separate multiple layer names with a comma ",". You may also use wildcards.With each of the above layer entry methods the layer name(s) selected are displayed during selection at the command line to help you to know the layers that you have selected.
