CREATE A NEW LINE (OF TEXT)

This command inserts a copy of a line of text below itself (spaced appropriately) and can move text (and other objects) down to allow for the new line.

User configurable options: none

Layers:

  • The new line of text will be on the same layer as the original text selected.

Known limitations:

  • None reported. If there is something this command will not do that you think it should please let us know.

Alternate uses:

SAMPLE NEWLINE COMMAND SYNTAX:

Command: NL
Command: NEWLINE

Select text line to copy:

Select the line of text.

 

Select text and other objects to be moved
Select objects:

Select text and other objects that need to move for the new line of text. If you do not have anything that needs to move just press <Enter> or <Space>.

 

Select objects:

If you selected objects above you will continue to be prompted for more objects to move until you press <Enter> or <Space> to stop.

 

--the objects selected to move have moved to allow for the newly copied line of text--
