NOTES TEXT

This command enters left justified dynamic text with the size and style for notes. The size of the text is automatically adjusted with the scale factor of the drawing so the text will always be the same size on the plotted sheet no matter the scale. 

User configurable options: 

  • Text font
  • Width factor
  • Text Height (for full size drawing - this value will then be adjusted w/ the scale factor of the drawing)

SAMPLE NOTES COMMAND SYNTAX:

Specify start point for notes:

Select the starting point for the text.

 

Specify rotation angle or use the [A]ng[L]e/[D]irection dialog: <0.0000>:

Specify the rotation angle by selecting a point, type in an angle, press "A", "L", or "D" to use the AngLe/Direction dialog, or press <Enter> / <Space> to have the text rotation be 0.0.

 

Enter text:

Type the text that you would like. Enter as many lines as you would like and move the "I" beam cursor to new locations by picking a new point just as you would in standard AutoCAD's dynamic text. Press the <Enter> key twice to stop.
