Type in a distance, "T" (for through), or "D" or "L" to use the Distance/Length dialog.

The last offset distance used is displayed in the top box (1.0000). If you would like to use this distance again press <Enter> or <Space> or the
button.
Speed Tip: After each of the buttons is pressed the
button is highlighted. This allows you to use the <Enter> or <Space> keys to press the
button after entering a value with the button keys. The fraction keys will also close this dialog: pressing the
and then the
button will enter a value of 1 1/2 and close the dialog without the need to press the
button.
