Specify offset distance, [D]istance/[L]ength dialog, or [Through] <1">:

Type in a distance, "T" (for through), or "D" or "L" to use the Distance/Length dialog.

[Typed in "D" or "L"]

The following dialog will appear:

The last offset distance used is displayed in the top box (1.0000). If you would like to use this distance again press <Enter> or <Space> or the button. 

Speed Tip: After each of the buttons is pressed the button is highlighted. This allows you to use the <Enter> or <Space> keys to press the button after entering a value with the button keys. The fraction keys will also close this dialog: pressing the and then the button will enter a value of 1 1/2 and close the dialog without the need to press the button.
