POLYLINE (PLINE) JOIN

This command command changes the first line or arc selected to a polyline (if it isn't already) and then allows you to join other lines/polylines/arcs to the first selected to create one polyline.

SAMPLE PJOIN COMMAND SYNTAX:

Command: PJ
Command: PJOIN

Select line, polyline, or arc:

Select the first line, polyline, or arc segment.

 

Select lines, polylines, and/or arcs to join.
Select objects:

Select lines, polylines and/or arcs.

 

Select objects:

Select as many lines, polylines and/or arcs as you like. When finished selecting press <Enter> or <Space>.

 

--the lines, polylines, and/or arcs are joined with the first object chosen to form a single polyline--

The new polyline inherits the layer, linetype, color, and lineweight of the first line/polyline/arc chosen. Polyline widths will be inherited along joined lines and arcs until another polyline is encountered, then the widths are no longer inherited.
