STRETCH CROSSING POLYGON

Equivalent AutoCAD command:  STRETCH

Added functionality,  features, or special conditions:

• Always uses the crossing polygon option so there is no need to always enter the "CP" for Crossing Polygon.

User configurable options: none

Known limitations:

• Cannot immediately use the crossing window option. Use the STRETCHC command or you can first draw the crossing polygon window for this command and then type in "C" at the prompt to use the crossing window option for your stretch. The information for the initial crossing polygon window will be discarded and the crossing window information will be used.

• Submit a limitation not listed.

SAMPLE STRETCHCP COMMAND SYNTAX:

Command: STRETCHCP

First polygon point:

Select the first point of the crossing polygon. 

 

Specify endpoint of line or [Undo]:

Select the next point.

 

Specify endpoint of line or [Undo]:

Keep selecting points to define the polygon. Press <Enter> or <Space> when done.

Select objects:

Press <Enter> or <Space>. If you do another crossing window or crossing polygon the first window's information of what it crossed will be lost. This is a GOOD thing if you need to redo the window otherwise always just press <Enter> or <Space>.

 

Specify base point or displacement:

Specify your base point.

 

Specify second point of displacement or <use first point as displacement>:

Specify the second point of displacement. If you would like to enter the second point relative to the first using a distance and angle or a change in X and Y coordinates you can press the toolbar button or type in (RELATIVE).
