SURVEYOR'S NOTATION

This command inserts text denoting the direction (in surveyor's units) and length (in decimal feet) of a line. The text is rotated to align with the line selected and placed offset from the line near it's midpoint.

Select line to note:

Select the line or pline to note. Where the line is selected does not affect where the note will be placed so you may select it anywhere.

You are prompted to select another line. Select the next line to be noted.

When you are done noting lines press <Enter> or <Space> to stop.
