SAMPLE TB-ATTSETUP COMMAND SYNTAX:

Command: TB-ATTSETUP

The following dialog appears:

The button brings you to this web page for help during the command (without canceling).

Each of the attributes that the TB-UPDAT command updates is listed on the buttons on the left. For more information on the attributes, where they get their values, and how to configure them see "Title Block Attributes".

Select the attribute block that you would like to insert by selecting one of the buttons. The following dialog will appear:

Select the text style, justification, width factor, and oblique angle that you would like for the attribute in the block and press "OK".

Note: The text styles listed are just the styles currently loaded in the drawing. If you would like to use a style other than those listed you may either cancel this command, load the style, and run this command again or select a style other than the one you would like and change the style later with a command like TXTEDT.

Insertion point:

Select the insertion point for the attribute. We have used the endpoint object snap in this example to help us locate the point we want on a temporary line. You may find the insertion point any way you like or you may just insert it in the general area and move it to where it needs to be later.

--the attribute block is inserted--

The main dialog will reappear:

Select the next attribute to insert.

You may continue to insert attribute blocks as needed until all the attributes needed for your title block have been inserted. When done press "Cancel" to close the dialog.

At this point you may change the attribute's layer, color, size, style, location etc. as you would any other attribute to get them "just right". See below under "Related Commands" for some commands to help with editing the attributes.
