TITLE BLOCK UPDATE

This command updates special attributes that have been placed in a title block with information such as: filename, project number, scale, date, initials, drawing type, sheet number, and date & time for the binding border. These special attributes are created using the TB-ATTSETUP command. For more on these attributes see Title Block Attributes. For more information on setting up a title block see Setting Up Title Blocks. 

User configurable options: 

You may configure some of the values the command will use for the attributes it changes. They are:

• Initials, name or other designation when logged in as the current user
• Number of characters in the project number
• Date format
• Time format
• Sheet number prefix
• Drawing type definitions

See the Title Blocks section of the APS-CONFIG command. 

Known limitations:

• This command will only update these special attributes so if none of the attributes exist in the drawing the command will do nothing.

• Submit a limitation not listed.

SAMPLE TB-UPDAT COMMAND SYNTAX:

Command: TB-UPDAT

--the command will search the drawing for any of the special attributes and if found will update the attribute with the appropriate value--
