TONGUE & GROOVE WOOD DECKING

Component of the Detailer command that draws various sizes of T&G decking of any length in section.

SAMPLE TGDECK COMMAND SYNTAX:

Command:
Command: TGDECK

The following dialog will appear:

The button will take you to the main selection screen of the detailer command.

The button brings you to this web page for help during the command (without canceling)

The last thickness button chosen will be highlighted (w/ dashed line as shown on the 1x4 button above). If this is the size board you would like to draw press <Enter> or <Space>. Otherwise select the button with the size desired.

 

Select start point for T&G decking:

Select the start point. The endpoint and intersection object snaps are added to your running snaps if they are not being used already.

 

Select end point or [D]ist/[L]ength/direction dialog:

Select the end point for the decking or type "D" or "L" to enter the point relative to the first point with the Distance/Length & direction dialog. This time the endpoint, intersection and perpendicular object snaps are added to your running snaps if they are not being used already.

 

Select side for thickness:

Select the side.
