If you use a block for your dimension tick this command will insert a copy of that block. If it cannot locate the tick block or a block is not used it inserts a block from the "...\APS \Custom\" folder called "DIMTIK.DWG".

The layer type for this command can be changed in the Assigning Layer Types to Commands portion of the Layer Control section of the APS-CONFIG command.

For this example we will assume that a leader has been drawn perpendicular to a line as shown above.
Command: TICK
Specify tick point:
Select the point for the tick. The intersection object snap is added to your running snaps if it is not being used already.
Specify direction:
This is the rotation angle for the tick. With many of the tick symbols the direction does not affect the appearance much.
