Select attributes, text, mtext, dimensions, hatching, attdefs, APS architectural symbols, doors (in plan), or windows (in plan):
Select one or more hatch objects and press <Enter> or <Space> and the following dialog appears:
The pattern name, scale, and rotation appear for the hatch pattern(s) selected. If more than one hatch object is selected any values that are not the same for all of the objects selected will display "*Varies*" otherwise they will display the value that they all share.
If you would like to change the hatch pattern select the new pattern from the drop down list by selecting the "Pattern name:" box and choosing from the list. Scroll up or down as needed.
To change the scale for the hatch you may either select one of the preset buttons that surround the scale box (the buttons all have arrows on them, the value for each button is above the button that it represents), type in a scale in the box, or press the
button to "show" it the scale in the drawing by selecting two points. The value of the preset buttons will change relative to the selected hatch's existing scale value. The buttons above the scale box are all smaller than the existing scale. The values below the scale box are all larger than the existing scale.
To change the rotation you may either enter a rotation angle in the box provided, press the
button to "show" the rotation in the drawing by selecting two points, or by selecting one of the angle presets. If you select one of the angle preset buttons the command will assume that you have entered all of the necessary changes to the pattern and scale, it will enter the angle value shown on the button, and the dialog will close.
If you did not press one of the preset angle buttons and all of the values are the way you would like them, press
and the dialog will close.
--the hatch object(s) selected will be changed using the properties chosen in the dialog--
