TRIM BEHIND STANDARD (SINGLE LINE) TEXT

This command trims objects from behind standard (single line) text.

User configurable options: none

Known limitations:

• Only objects that can be trimmed using the AutoCAD "TRIM" command can be trimmed using this command.
• Any object that fits completely inside the "text box" surrounding a particular piece of text will not be trimmed. (The "text box" is an invisible rectangle that surrounds each piece of standard text) Any small objects that fits inside this rectangle will remain unchanged and if desired can be erased to completely clean up behind the text. 

• Submit a limitation not listed.

SAMPLE TXTRIM COMMAND SYNTAX:

Select text to trim behind.
Select objects:

Select the text that you would like to trim behind.

 

Select objects:

When done selecting text press <Enter> or <Space>.
