WINDOW CALLOUT SYMBOL

This command inserts a window callout symbol at a specified point. The scale of the symbol is automatically adjusted for the scale of the drawing.

User configurable options:

• Size and shape of symbol - See Customizing standard symbol blocks
• Size and style of symbol text - See Customizing standard symbol blocks
• Which attribute values are visible in the symbol - See Modifying attribute definitions in door, window, and room symbol blocks
• Symbol prompts and default values and window schedule category titles to be used with the window schedule command (WINDSCHED). See Window Schedule / Window Symbol - Titles and Prompts in the Schedules section of the APS Configuration Utility.

Layers:

• If you are using "No Layer Control" the the symbol will be inserted on whatever layer is current. See the Layer Control section of the APS Configuration Utility.

• The default layer type for this symbol is "Drawing symbols".
  • If you are using "Direct Layer Assignment" the layer name is assigned to this layer type in the Layer assignments portion of the Layer Control section of the APS-CONFIG command.
  • If you are using "Layer Schemes" the layer name is assigned to this layer type in the Assigning Layer Names to Layer Types portion of the SCHEMEDIT command.

  The layer type for this command can be changed in the Assigning Layer Types to Commands portion of the Layer Control section of the APS-CONFIG command.
