Attribute orientation

When creating blocks that will use attribute adjustment orient the attribute(s) so they read as shown here (This assumes that zero is configured to 3 o'clock). This does not limit your justification or placement options, this just means that the attributes should be rotated so that they read with "up" at angle zero.

A tip when creating your attributes, since the block may be mirrored you may want to experiment with justifications that will not have the text moving when "adjusted".

The insertion point

Blocks that will use the Attribute Adjustment for Readability should have their insertion point on the centerline of the block. This prevents the block from moving when "adjusted".
